Ashley Gualano

Paralegal

Biography

Ashley is a personal injury paralegal and office manager for Marker & Crannell. Her career with our firm began in 2015 after completing her paralegal internship with our office. She graduated with honors from Rasmussen University with my associate degree and a certificate in Paralegal Studies. Prior to pursuing a legal career, Ashley was a CNA (Certified Nurse’s Assistant), which certification she earned from Moraine Valley in 2005.

Through the years with Marker and Crannell, Ashley has had the opportunity to be a member of our trial team assisting with numerous jury trials in multiple counties. While the attorneys are busy preparing for, and executing, their trial plan, Ashley supports our clients by ensuring their understanding of the process along the way while also making sure everything the attorneys need is at their fingertips.

“I love being able to help our clients from start to finish with their case. I’m passionate about being a part of the team to help make a difficult situation better and doing everything I can to help bring them justice for their injuries. Throughout the case, I develop personal relationships with our clients, and those relationships make my work personal. They aren’t just a number, and our law firm isn’t just a business. I listen to clients to make sure we understand what their injuries mean to them, and I take the time to explain all the nuances of their case and the process so they know how well-represented they are by our team.”

Our attorneys and paralegals truly work as a team. We collaborate on cases to develop ideas, theories of liability, case themes, settlement strategy, and trial strategy. By being involved in every aspect of our client’s case, Ashley finds herself personally invested in the client, their case, and the outcome. In fact, Ashley keeps in touch with a number of former clients even though their case is closed.

When not working, all of Ashley’s free time is spent with her husband and her two young children, and her newest addition, Cody, a golden retriever. Her family enjoys being outside, gymnastics and traveling.
